America Hold's World's Largest Concert Today

Washington -- School kids across America will be singing their hearts out for America today in a live event that will make it the World's Largest Concert.

To observe March as Music In Our Schools Month, the National Association for Music Education will hold a concert of patriotic tunes which will be broadcast on PBS television and Armed Forces Network at 1:00 EST which will be led by Bob McGrath of "Sesame Street."

School kids will be tuning in from the auditoriums of their schools and singing along to patriotic tunes like "Star Spangled Banner," "50 States in Rhyme," and "Zip A Dee Doo Dah."

The concert is also a bid to inspire patriotism in American youths because according to a poll by Harris Interactive, nearly two out of three Americans don't know all the words to the National Anthem.

Organizers expect six million participants in the event which will make it a record setting event.
