New 'Average Joe' Believes In Love At First Sight

Los Angeles, CA -- The shoe is now on the other foot for former "Average Joe" cast member Adam Mesh, who was the runner-up on the reality show's first run.

"Average Joe" begins production on its third edition today (Feb. 20), and Mesh, a New York businessman, will be doing the choosing.

Mesh initially turned down the chance because he "didn't want to be rejecting women" but he changed his mind when he realized producers had 14 staffers trying to find him the best woman possible.

Although Mesh didn't find love the first time around, he remains open to the possibility because his own parents fell in love and married within six weeks of meeting.

Still, it won't be easy for the women competing for his affections. Mesh has no plans to wear a fat suit like the show's female stars but wants to make sure no one is interested in him just for money.

"Average Joe: Adam Returns" debuts March 15 on NBC.
