Bangkok, Thailand -- A man in Thailand who went on a three-day drinking binge without sleeping or eating has died after a terrible tummy ache. Authorities investigating the case believe the terrible pain felt by Sanam Jodrum occurred when he tried to operate on himself to remove a piece of buffalo hide he believed had been placed in his stomach by sorcerers. BERLIN -- Nearly a ton of raspberry syrup poured out onto a highway in Germany yesterday, leaving a 25-mile sticky streak behind. The truck was on its way to a jam factory when it sprang a leak according to police in the town of Schwabach. That's what happened to a 17-year-old boy in California, after he saw his own picture on a website for missing children. Turns out the boy's mother had kidnapped him from his father in Canada back in 1989. The "Toronto Sun" reports that the mother has since been arrested and the boy has been placed in the care of California children's services.
