Motorcycle Model Gets Plastered

Long Island City, NY -- A slinky motorcycle model is getting really plastered tonight -- and it's all in the name of art.

The model has volunteered to strip naked and sit astride a Harley-Davidson motorcycle at a Long Island cycle dealership while sculptor Sergio Furnari pours plaster all over her.

The artist estimates it will take about six hours to completely cover the women in plaster, which will yield a cast for a sculpture commemorating Harley-Davidson's 100th anniversary.

Furnari is playing with plaster to perfect a new process for casting people's bodies in the exact posture they'd use while sitting on their cycles.

He figures bikers would love sculptures of beautiful women to prop on their motorcycles while they're not riding them, and plans to take his craft to the annual Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Florida, next month.
