Santa Clarita, CA -- Who do you think is more romantic when it comes to Valentine's Day, men or women?

A new survey by the folks who run the Love Boat cruise ship fleet shows it's the men, hands down.

According to the poll by the Caribbean Princess, "spending time together/love" ranks No. 2 on men's desires for Valentine's Day, but comes in dead last on women's list of most wanted Valentine's gifts.

So what do the ladies want? Jewelry or a watch, followed by flowers, candy or a vacation.

The poll also shows women are a little out of touch when it comes to knowing what their man wants on Cupid's Day: They think guys want big ticket items like jewelry or a vacation, when in reality the guys want time together or some candy.

By contrast, the majority of men know exactly what women want. The top five gifts they give correlate exactly to women's desires: jewelry, flowers, candy/chocolate, dinner or a vacation.
