Los Angeles, CA -- The former singer of the 1980s art rock band Romeo Void is an Indian giver -- and the school kids just love it. These days, Debora Iyall, the woman who wrote the classic line, "I might like you better if we slept together," works in southern California as a teacher and travels to different schools explaining the heritage of the local native American culture. Iyall -- who wrote such songs like "Never Say Never" and "A Girl In Love (Is A Temporary Thing)" -- is native American and says it's always been part of her belief system. But she never made her heritage public knowledge until she entered the public school system because, in her words, "I didn't want it to be exploited." Iyall hasn't given up music. In fact, she reunites with the rest of Romeo Void tonight (Jan. 20) on the VH-1 series, "Bands Reunited."
