Kirsten Dunst Attending Kidney Failure Benefit Prom -- No Kidding

Sherman Oaks, CA -- Southern California kids with kidney troubles will be attending a special prom this Sunday (Jan. 18) at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif., with special attendee Kirsten Dunst.

Organizer Lori Hartwell, who missed her own prom due to kidney failure, has put on the prom each year for the past four years with the theme "An Evening in Hollywood."

In the past years they hired celebrity look-alikes to come to the prom, but this year Hartwell secured Notre Dame alumni Dunst, "Spy Kids'" Alexa Vega and actor Mark Harmon, whose child attends Notre Dame High.

Hartwell had an easy time getting Dunst and Vega to attend. Rather than call their agents, she went straight to their moms and asked them if their kids would lend a hand and they agreed.

Hartwell is hammering out the final details as the big night draws near, and she says "It's so exciting this year's 'Evening in Hollywood' is really going to be an 'Evening in Hollywood.'"
