Los Angeles, CA -- Being a successful teen actor has put 13-year-old Scotty Leavenworth in seventh heaven.

Scotty -- who played Julia Roberts' son in "Erin Brockovich" -- now plays "Peter" on the WB drama, "7th Heaven," and enjoying all that entails.

He especially likes the fast pace of a TV set compared to a film shoot because, "I like to get things on the first take" and admits he had a hilarious time doing a kissing scene with co-star MacKenzie Rosman.

However, the best part of the job has been the fan letters. Scotty says he's been getting lots of postcards saying "great job!" and one fan even sent a homemade book marker.

Scotty says he knows "7th Heaven" is especially popular with correctional inmates but admits he's never read a fan letter from a prisoner because his mother "has a special place for those letters: The trash can."
