Fullerton, CA (WFN) -- A press-grabbing Orange County, California, woman is claiming actor Kevin Costner has her 20-year-old child.

Romana Medina claims she befriended Costner more than 20 years ago; around the time she gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl.

Medina says her children were taken from here over allegations that she abandoned them. As she puts it, she left them at day care for two days while she was out looking for a job.

She claims Kevin and Cindy Costner adopted the girl, Annie, and claims that in April, 1984, the couple "had the birth certificate of her child changed into the names of Kevin and Cindy Costner."

Now, Medina says she'll be back in court in Fullerton, California, on Dec. 20 to face charges over a restraining order she claims Costner served her after she sent a Christmas card to daughter Annie saying, "You are really my daughter."

Still, Medina is fuzzy on the details and claims she suffers from blackouts and has gaps in her memory.

A spokesman for Costner did not return phone calls.
