New York, NY (WFN) -- The 1970s singing group, the O'Jays, will be performing on TV this Thursday (Dec. 16) for the love of Donald Trump. The O'Jays 1973 hit "For The Love Of Money" is the theme show for "The Apprentice" and the band has been invited to sing the song live on the show's season finale. It's a thrill for lead singer Eddie Levert, who says he's a big fan of Trump because "...he makes s*** happen without using his own money." Although the lyrics to the song seem to criticize the quest for money and "The Apprentice" celebrates it, Levert doesn't see a contradiction. In his words, "The show simplifies business and shows exactly what people are willing to do for money." These days, Levert is doing things for the love of family, not money. He's on tour with his son, Gerald Levert, performing their hits as well as tunes by Barry White, Rick James and Ray Charles.
