	2004-12-13 - Weird News Wireless Flash News Playboy Gives Amputee Model A Hand

New York, NY (WFN) -- "Playboy" has featured thousands of beautiful women in its magazine and website but none are quite like Jennifer Krum. The 25-year-old model is the first amputee to pose nude for photographers and her pictures are currently featured at playboy.com. Krum lost her left hand and forearm in a car accident when she was four and hopes the photos send a message that disabled women can also "be beautiful, sexy and attractive." Although Krum wears a prosthetic arm, she says it's not usually an issue when she dates. Sadly, she admits, "there have been times when someone liked me until they found out. They didn't say that was the reason, but I'm no dummy." Now, Krum hopes her "Playboy" appearance opens doors for other attractive amputees and admits she hopes the interest in her photo shoot inspires Hugh Hefner to give the thumbs up for a pictorial in the magazine.
