Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Actors are supposed to learn their lines before filming scenes, but some fans expect them to remember them years later.

Actress Bridgette Wilson-Sampras has learned that after playing Adam Sandler's teacher in the 1995 comedy "Billy Madison."

She constantly meets fans of the movie who recite lines from the script and says "they usually can recite whole scenes verbatim."

Just last week, Wilson-Sampras was confronted by a fan who started reciting lines from the movie. She responded back with lines from the film as well but didn't do them word-for-word and, as a result, "the guy was very disappointed."

Luckily, Wilson-Sampras has a chance to review her dialogue because the film just came out in a special edition DVD.

But she may not have time to watch it because she's busy raising her son with tennis great Pete Sampras and working with Steve Martin and Claire Danes on their upcoming comedy, "Shopgirl."
