Burbank, CA (WFN) -- Oscar nominations won't be announced until next month but Hollywood insiders are very animated about which films have been nominated for Annies.

The Annies are the animation equivalent of the Academy Awards and, this year, "The Incredibles" looks to draw a lot of awards thanks to its 16 nominations, including Best Picture.

Other films up for Best Picture Annies include "Shrek 2; Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence;" and "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie."

"SpongeBob SquarePants" also soaked up a nomination for Best TV show.

Meanwhile, the nominations in the Best Voice Acting categories are a star-studded affair. Samuel L. Jackson gets an Annie nomination for playing Frozone in "The Incredibles;" Antonio Banderas is up for his portrayal of Puss in Boots in "Shrek 2" and over on the TV side, Brittany Murphy is nominated for her role as Luanne Platter on "King Of The Hill."

The Annie Awards will be officially announced Jan. 30 in a ceremony hosted by comedian Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants.
