Rum Balls And Girlie Magazines Off The Fighting Mens' Wish List

Washington (WFN) -- If you're planning to send a Christmas care package to a soldier in Iraq, leave out the rum balls.

The popular holiday treat is just one of several items on the restricted list to send to members of the military in Iraq because they're fighting in a alcohol-free Muslim country.

That means alcohol of any kind and girlie magazines are exempt according to a spokesman for the U.S. Post Office.

Even bibles and religious materials are to be kept at a minimum: Only one religious text per package is permitted.
