Clay Aiken's Shocking Secret: 'I Know How To Shag'

Salt Lake City, UT (WFN) -- You probably know that Clay Aiken can sing but he can also shag with the best of them.

It's not as dirty as it sounds. The "shag" that Aiken is referring to is a dance that is popular in his native state of North Carolina.

"Shagging" is similar to jitterbugging and Aiken says it's practically required of all North Carolina residents.

Sadly, Aiken isn't shagging too much these days. He's on the road doing a series of Christmas concerts and promoting his upcoming NBC special, "A Clay Aiken Christmas," which premieres Dec. 8.

The special features appearances by "Will And Grace" star Megan Mullally and Barry Manilow, who gave Aiken lots of advice during the filming -- about music, not shagging.
