Palo Alto, CA (WFN) -- When it comes to the sounds that soothe stress, one person's serenity is another's annoyance.

That's the sound of it from Larry Barasch, the founder of iserenity.com, a website that allows computer-users to download relaxing soundtracks that run on computers like screensavers to eliminate stress and mask outside noises during the work day.

While the most popular sounds are old standbys like bubbling brooks and wind chimes, Barasch has found a huge demand for something he calls the "Airplane Aria" -- a recording of the white noise inside an airplane cabin.

He adds new sounds based on feedback from users and some of the more bizarre ones include a "Howling Hairdryer" a "Droning Clothes Dryer" and "Vacuum Vibrations."

Barasch -- a cubicle dweller at a corporation in Silicon Valley -- came up with the idea in response to his own noisy neighbors at work, although he admits, "I'm trying to keep that on the QT."
