Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- The newest cast member on "That '70s Show" is a real princess -- and that's not a comment about her attitude.

Megalyn Echikunwoke, who plays the half-sister of Danny Masterson's character, is the real-life daughter of a Nigerian prince.

Although she has royal roots, Echikunwoke has never lived the pampered life of a princess since she grew up in the U.S. far away from the village where her ancestors ruled.

In fact, the closest she's come to a royal life was portraying an African princess on a TV show a few years ago.

Echikunwoke's dad passed away when she was four, but she says if he hadn't, he probably would have arranged a marriage for her with another member of Nigerian royalty.

Since that didn't happen, she's going to have to settle for another crowning achievement -- having an on screen romance with one of her new co-stars.

Echikunwoke won't say who the lucky bachelor is, but it's a safe bet she won't come out of the plot line feeling "punk'd."
