San Francisco, CA (WFN) -- The Boston Red Sox's journey to win their first World Series in 86 years may have taken the spotlight away from another championship: a two-month Tetris mobile game tournament. The tournament was held from September through October and more than 24,000 gamers across the U.S. competed to win the coveted title, which was ultimately won by Khamla Le -- who had to play more than 2500 games during his run. While the Red Sox were given bonuses and a trip to Disneyland for their accomplishment, Ye wasn't afforded such luxuries. He didn't even receive a trophy, but it doesn't bother the 25-year-old. In his words, "I don't really care. I thought it was just a cool thing to win." Celebrity status is also eluding Ye and he figures the title won't help him out with the ladies either. As he puts it, "I don't forsee getting much popularity with the girls from this."
