Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Now that the TV series "Frasier" is dead, Kelsey Grammer is spending his days talking with the deceased.

He's currently producing a TV series called "Medium" that stars Patricia Arquette as a woman who communicates with the other side.

As a result, Grammer has had "several eye-opening experiences" with the psychic realm and describes his personal "investigation of other planes" as "very reassuring."

He hopes his upcoming psychic series provides "affirmation" for others but, so far, no premiere date has been affirmed.

In the meantime, Grammer will be dealing with spooks of a different kind -- the ghosts of Christmases past, present and future.

He will play Ebenezer Scrooge in a musical version of "A Christmas Carol" that airs on NBC on Nov. 28 and co-stars Jason Alexander and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
