	2004-11-10 - Weird News Wireless Flash News Chicago: Best City For Reality Show Wannabes

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Some people call Chicago the "Second City" but it's No. 1 for reality show casting director Tad Frank, who is currently casting the seventh edition of "The Bachelor." Frank says, frankly, the Windy City has been a "very very good" place for finding contestants for shows like "The Bachelor, Survivor" and "The Amazing Race." He says Chicago is a great casting spot because it's a metropolis, but the citizens have "small town values" and aren't jaded or aspiring actresses or actors like those in Los Angeles or New York. But while Chicago is a great city for reality shows, Frank also has high regard for Texas because residents there "have their own way of life and larger-than-life personalities." Frank won't say just how many Chicago citizens or Texans will meet the next "Bachelor" when the show airs next spring but he does admit that the bachelor will be famous, possibly a musician or an actor.
