Chicago, IL (WFN) -- You won't have to train your little man to sit first and stand later when he's in potty training thanks to a new product called the Peter Potty.

The stand-up potty trainer is the world's first toddler-sized urinal, consisting of a flush tank and waste tray that can be wall-mounted or stand on its own in the bathroom.

The "gee-whiz" device can be adjusted to grow with the little tinkler and it holds a full day's worth of urine.

Product spokesman Scott Rote says the urinal was created because many little boys have trouble adjusting to peeing standing up at the toilet. In his words, "They feel very unbalanced so their aim is way off. They go all over the seat, the hinges and down the side of the toilet."

Rote says the product will prevent the messy clean-up and "eliminate any room for error."

The Peter Potty will be trickling into stores and internet catalog companies for $39.99 at the end of December.
