|
Arlington, MA (WFN) -- The Boston Red Sox' recent World Series sweep is putting one Massachusetts-based ice cream maker in a happy dilemma. Earlier this year, Brighams Ice Cream introduced a new flavor called "Reverse The Curse" -- vanilla ice cream with chocolate-covered peanuts and chocolate-covered caramels shaped like bases. Sales for the flavor have been hot all season but the Red Sox victory is forcing a name change -- and Brighams CEO Chuck Green can't decide what it should be. The company is offering four options at brighams.com: "Curse Reversed," "Believe It!" "Sox Rock" and "Fenway Faithful," but will close voting down at noon on Halloween (Oct. 31). It could cost a lot to change the name on all the tubs but Green -- whose dad was once Babe Ruth's bat boy -- doesn't mind, saying "we had every intention of renaming it from the start."
