Los Angeles, CA -- "Spider-Man" star Tobey Maguire is now a card shark.

Maguire cleaned up at the Phil Hellmuth's Poker Invitational at Hollywood Park & Casino on Wednesday (Oct. 27).

The $2,000 buy-in wound up netting the actor $95,480 in winnings for first place.

According to organizers, he outlasted a field of 123 players which included Danny Masterson of "That '70s Show."

Commentator and host Phil Hellmuth says he spoke to Maguire before the tournament and the actor told him he wanted this contest to be his first win. He also thinks Maguire has potential to become one of the best poker players in Hollywood.
