New York, NY (WFN) -- If you have something to say to President George W. Bush -- good or bad -- write a letter. That's the advice from Marcus Woollen, creator of the play, "Dear George: Letters to the President," in which performers act out excerpts from more than 1500 letters to the president that have been collected by Woollen. The play is being performed in 40 theaters across the U.S. and contains pro and anti-Bush messages such as: "I wouldn't piss in your ear if your brain was on fire"; and "Finally, someone is speaking out against the homosexuals who have the nerve to want marriage." Woollen was surprised to find many letters were issue-driven and not simply personal attacks or pats on the back for Bush. He says the play was created to "give people the chance to give reasons behind their opinions about the president" instead of "just checking a box on a ballot." "Dear George" ends its run on Election Day (Nov. 2.)
