Springfield, MO (WFN) -- The dodgeball craze and the U.S. presidential election frenzy are colliding in a new video game. "Political Dodgeball" -- which is played on cell phones and PDAs -- is scoring points with voters, and has seen a surge in downloads since the presidential debates. The game has a Democrat version where you play as John Kerry throwing balls at George W. Bush and a Republican version where you play as Bush. If you lose, you see your opponent sworn into office by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, William Rehnquist. John Sellars, spokesman for Downfallout Games, says up until last week there were more players downloading the Republican version, but then the Democrat version surged ahead. Sellars can't explain the Democrat doubling, but he jokes that it may reflect the outcome of the election.
