St. Louis, MO (WFN) -- Houston Astros pitcher Roger Clemens can shock opposing batters with his speed, but now he's supporting a program that will shock even kids. The baseballer is the spokesman for a shocking new campaign to help raise awareness about the need for defibrillators in school. Clemens says more than 7,000 kids die of cardiac arrest in U.S. schools each year, but that could be prevented by stocking schools with heartbeat-restarting portable defibrillators. It's something that Clemens is worried about since he has kids in school and heart failure runs in his family. In his words, "I have to watch out for it too."
