Atlanta, GA (WFN) -- Bowling For Soup is going back further than "1985" for its newest recording. The Texas-based punk-pop group has remade the theme song to "Gilligan's Island" for the upcoming reality series version of the show, which debuts Nov. 30 on TBS.

LOS ANGELES -- Nick Nolte and Rosanna Arquette ran into each other recently -- literally. The two actors had a minor car collision and Nolte admits that he was a bit embarrassed but wrote on his website that "...it would make a good scene in a movie."

LONDON -- The 1980s music revival is now branching out into Christmas. Coldplay, The Darkness and Travis are reportedly in talks to cut a new version of the 1984 Band Aid charity tune, "Do They Know It's Christmas?," according to "E! Online".

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- ABC has announced it will not carry the "Miss America" pageant on its network anymore, leaving the famous annual beauty pageant without a network since it was first televised in 1954. The move comes after September's pageant received record low ratings.
