Mackinac Island, MI -- Christopher Reeve fans will be flying high over this: The Michigan hotel where he filmed the love story "Somewhere in Time" is offering fans a tribute to the recently-deceased star.

The Mackinac Island Grand Hotel will offer its 14th Annual "Somewhere in Time" Weekend Oct. 29-31 for fans who want to visit the site where Reeve filmed the 1980 love story film Jane Seymour.

Hotel president, R.D. "Dan" Musser III was 16 years old and running the tennis courts when Reeve filmed the movie. Musser says when Reeve took Seymour into his arms, "he looked like a Superman."

Musser says the last time Reeve returned to the hotel was in 1994 when he attended the ""Somewhere in Time" Weekend," one year before his accident.

Musser says Seymour is welcome back any time she wants, but she probably won't attend this year's event because she was just on Mackinac Island last month for a photography shoot for her new furnishings company.
