Vancouver, British Columbia -- The alien-hunting TV show, "The X-Files," may be gone, but it's not forgotten in Vancouver, Canada. Vancouver-based tourism company X-Tours specializes in shuttling fans around to haunts where the show was filmed, such as agent Dana Scully's apartment. Boyd McConnell owns the tour company as well as the building where Scully supposedly lived. Despite his mother living in the apartment, McConnell says couples can even use it as a wedding chapel. Even if you weren't a fan of the show, McConnell says the tour takes a scenic view of Vancouver hotspots like China Town, Gas Town and Stanley Park. McConnell expects things to only get better. Despite the fact the show went off the air in 2000, he says interest is holding strong in "The X-Files." He figures creator Chris Carter will make another "X-Files" movie at some point and the show will turn into a franchise like "Star Trek," which will be good for his business.
