Philadelphia, PA -- NFL wives make good cheerleaders for their husbands during the football season, but now they'll prove if they can make good Jane Fonda imitators.

Wives such as Katie Detmer, spouse of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, Koy Detmer, and Valerie Vinatieri, significant other to New England Patriots kicker Adam Vinatieri will be kicking off classes -- with the help of a trainer -- that imitate the workout of many NFL football players.

The class -- called "Football Widows 101" -- will be offered at sport clubs in select U.S. cities from now until the end of November and covers everything from improving strength and cardiovascular to catching footballs and using tackling dummies.

Katie Detmer says the class will "get women to learn the sports' training our husbands go through."

She says she wanted to be apart of the class because "some women have no idea" what most football players go through to get ready for a game and thinks it will "give women the opportunity to get inside football by a different angle."
