Donetsk, Ukraine (WFN) -- Is the Ukrainian prime minister playing peek-a-boo with voters? According to a report on the news website ananova.com, campaigners for the incumbent Viktor Yanukovich are staging a free striptease show for voters to convince them to reelect the politician on Oct. 31. The story quotes one organizer as saying, "We hope the voters will remember who gave them this show for free when they go to the ballot box." RICHARDSON, Texas -- Here's some good news: An open casting call is being held Saturday (Oct. 16) in Dallas to find young actors for the remake of the 1970s film, "The Bad News Bears," a movie about a ragtag team of misfits who transform into a winning baseball team. The movie stars Billy Bob Thorton and will be released in 2006. BOSTON -- A boat once owned by former President John F. Kennedy Jr. was seized by the Drug Enforcement Agency earlier this week because the current owner allegedly purchased it with drug money. According to the DEA, in 1996 Gregory Olaf Anderson purchased the Flash II, a Star Class Sloop Sailboat built in 1930, using proceeds from marijuana distribution. CHICAGO -- The rum-soaked political party Americans for a Better Party -- backed by rum-maker Captain Morgan -- says it's changing the label on its bottle just in time for the presidential elections. The new limited-edition bottle depicts their candidate, Morgan, as the next president. Five of the novelty bottles will be available to U.S. citizens when the booze goes up for auction on eBay at a later date to be announced.
