Beverly Hills, CA (WFN) -- You can expect the 30-second broadcast delay to be in full use at the next Oscars telecast, because controversial comic Chris Rock has been tapped to host the ceremony. The "Saturday Night Live" alumni has just been announced as the emcee for the 77th Academy Awards, which will air on Feb. 27, 2005. LOS ANGELES -- Grunge gods Pearl Jam are releasing their first ever greatest hits album Nov. 16 on Epic Records. The two-CD set, "rearviewmirror (greatest hits 1991-2003)" will include fast-paced tracks like "Jeremy" and "Do The Evolution" on a disk titled "Up Side," while downbeat tunes like "Betterman" and "Last Kiss" are relegated to the second CD, "Down Side." HOLLYWOOD -- Teen pop star JoJo is in talks to make her feature film debut. According to the "Hollywood Reporter", the 13-year-old "Leave (Get Out)" singer would act opposite Nickelodeon star Emma Roberts in a mermaid comedy called "Aquamarine," which will begin shooting in February. WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- This Bud's for Dale Jr. In honor of NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., who drives a car numbered "8" in races, Budweiser is releasing eight-packs with Earnhardt Jr.'s likeness on the packaging. The eight-packs will only be available in North Carolina, South Carolina and Atlanta for the time being, but Budweiser officials say it will roll out in more markets starting in 2005.
