Timmins, Ontario (WFN) -- The travel bureau in Timmins, Ontario is warning Shania Twain fans to book accommodations now for the opening of The Shania Twain Centre on Nov. 2.

The Centre is a museum of Twain's career and life and will include the majority of the awards she's won and outfits she's worn as well as mementos like handwritten lyrics and photos from fans and Twain herself.

Tracy Hautanen, spokeswoman for Travel Timmins, says a crush of about 5,000 visitors are expected for the grand opening in which Twain, who grew up in Timmins, will take part.

Hautanen says people as far off as California, Indiana and the U.K. are due to arrive.

The thing is, there are only roughly 600 hotel rooms available in Timmins at any given time, says Hautanen, and the next nearest community is about an hour away.
