Toronto, Ontario -- Psychic phone lines have had a bad rap since Miss Cleo got popped by the Federal Trade Commission but one Canadian seer predicts he can make them respectable.

Anthony Carr says he and butt-reading medium Jacqueline Stallone are about to film an infomercial for a psychic phone line that will offer "honest counseling combined with 20 percent divine inspiration."

Carr says the market for telephone psychics is still there and figures he and Stallone are the perfect representatives because they have reputations that "are beyond reproach."

He insists the new phone line "won't sucker callers by saying 'I had a dream about you,'" and says the goal is "...to elevate the practice above scandalous humbuck and carny shtick."

A few months ago, Carr says starting a psychic phone line was the last thing he would have predicted but things changed after he met representatives from Limelight Entertainment, the company sponsoring the infomercial.

Now, he predicts the phone line will be a success when the ads start airing in a few months.
