New York, NY (WFN) -- Your job may be crappy, but according to a report from "Popular Science" magazine, it's probably not as bad as being an Anal Wart Researcher.

The magazine's editors put Anal Wart Researcher at the top of their annual Worst Jobs in Science list. Research shows everyone has a 10 percent lifetime risk of contracting anal warts and the only way to detect the disease is to have a trained nurse "scrutinize your derriere."

In second place is Worm Parasitologist, who studies worm parasites, while third place goes to Lab-Animal Veterinarian because "most vets are tormented by the moral conundrum at the heart of animal testing."

Ranking number four on the list is Tampon Squeezer. They manually squeeze out the liquid of used tampons to recover specimens for sexually transmitted disease tests.

Finally, skipping to no. 9 is Tick Dragger. They drag a white corduroy sheet through a tick-ridden thicket and then tweeze off the bugs into jars for Lyme-disease research. The pay is marginally better than a burger flipper.
