Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- George W. Bush is getting vocal support from a Los Angeles voice expert who says the president has a good ol' voice.

Voice expert Dr. Mort Cooper has analyzed the speaking styles of both Bush and John Kerry and says "Dubya" has a "good ol' boy voice" that is very personable and listenable because he talks "up in the face."

By comparison, Cooper says Kerry uses a lower voice that is good for lectures but is "not listener-friendly at all."

Kerry's lecturing tone not only sounds worse than Bush's voice but it's also worse on his throat. Cooper says the Senator's speaking style often puts him at risk for hoarseness.

Cooper says Kerry may have better talking points than Bush but the president's nice-sounding voice is giving him a distinct advantage because, as he puts it, "people are actually listening to him."
