The heavy metal guitar hero gives Pauley a lesson on today's (Sep. 30) episode of her new talk show. DALLAS -- If you're going to watch "The Exorcist," you better scare up some fellow couch potatoes. According to a survey by Blockbuster, the 1973 horror classic tops the list of movies that people refuse to watch by themselves beating out other scary flicks like "The Blair Witch Project, Nightmare On Elm Street" and "The Ring." WASHINGTON -- Cat Stevens isn't allowed in the United States, but he is allowed on satellite radio. Tonight (Sep. 30), the XM satellite network will air an interview with Stevens, who now goes by the name "Yusef Islam," and was recently added to the U.S. security department's no-fly list because of national security concerns. The website suspended betting on the show after numerous suspicious bets started rolling in from New Hampshire. Each bet was made for the maximum limit wager of $300 on the same day, for the same two contestants and came from newly opened accounts. Wagering director Stuart Doyle said in a release, whether the pattern is a result of rumors or a leak from someone involved with the show the risk is "too great to continue offering betting on the show." NEW YORK -- Will famous pinheads Al Franken and Bill O'Reilly will compete in a bowling match? Franken challenged O'Reilly yesterday on his radio show to a bowling duel on Oct. 7. Franken said, "There's been a lot of back and forth between the two of us and this is just a good way to clear the air." The proposed bowling match will take place as part of the Great American Bowl-Off -- an event where Kerry and Bush supporters will meet and compete at bowling centers around the nation.
