Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Love is pain and pain is love. That's the painful lesson George Gray learned while hosting ESPN's new reality show, "I'd Do Anything." The show is built around regular people who claim they'd do anything so that their friend or loved one can fulfill an ultimate sports fantasy, and Gray says the contestants "would play so hard, they would hurt themselves." Gray, also host of the "Weakest Link", says nearly 25 percent of the contestants got hurt while performing sports-related tasks, which included making a solo punt return without blockers against a professional football team and playing basketball with real-life bulls. It didn't surprise Gray that the contestants would go through so much pain to fulfill a loved one's sports fantasy such as cycling with Lance Armstrong or playing golf with Jack Nicklaus. As he puts it, "You don't be on a show like "I'd Do Anything" and be a candy**." "I'd Do Anything" premieres on Tuesday (Sept. 28).
