Burbank, CA -- When the members of the rock band Bluelight say "It's NOT about the money, it's about the music," they really mean it.

That's because the group is made up of several well-off big wigs from Disney, a VP from Gibson Guitars and a former mayor of Burbank, California.

Drummer and former mayor Michael Hastings says, with all their connections in the entertainment business, record labels want to sign a contract with them, but the band still says no thanks.

However, Hastings says the group is negotiating some deal with the American Association for Retired People because, as of last Saturday, all the members are now 50-year-olds.

Bluelight will be performing, along with Josh Kelly and The Crosby Loggins Band October 2 at the Burbank Priority in Education Foundation's "In Concert" fund raiser for public schools in Burbank.
