Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Actor Will Friedle is best known for starring on the sitcom, "Boy Meets World," but now he's meeting gold diggers instead.

Friedle is the star of "National Lampoon's Gold Diggers" and plays a would-be con man who tries to seduce "The Nanny" mom Renee Taylor for her fortune.

It's not easy work. One of the scenes required him to pretend to be aroused while the 71-year-old Taylor performed a strip tease, but Friedle says it "...was so funny that it didn't feel difficult."

The film is meant to be a comedy but Friedle also thinks it could provide some important life lessons to its target audience.

In his words, "Anyone who watches this will certainly learn how NOT to be a gold digger."

"National Lampoon's Gold Diggers," which also stars Nikki Ziering, Louise Lasser and "American Pie" cast member Chris Owen, opens in theaters today (Sep. 17).
