Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- The voice actor for the new animated series "The Batman" is voicing his opinion on the superhero. Rino Romano voices the twenty-something version of Batman for the younger, more hip take on the Dark Knight. But he's no stranger to the superhero circuit. Romano also voices Spiderman for video games and the animated series. Romano doesn't know if he wants to choose between the two but admits he prefers Batman because he's "more iconic, more complex and has a duality of a billionaire playboy and a smart guy." In Romano's words, "It doesn't get any better than this." Romano describes the new incarnation of Batman as a blend of the classic Batman with modern elements. Instead of a Bat Signal, Batman uses the "Batwave," a wireless PDA-like device. But one classic Batman element remains in the new show: Adam West, who starred in the 1960s live version of "Batman." He now voices the character Mayor Grange. "The Batman" will air on the WB Saturday mornings starting tomorrow (Sep. 11).
