Island Harbour, Anguilla (WFN) -- Most people take a vacation to escape work, but one Caribbean resort is doing just dandy with a package in which guests clean rooms and serve meals. Travelers who buy the seven-night, $599 "Run Your Inn," package at Anguilla's Arawak Beach Inn, help the master innkeeper with the daily "to-do's" of running an inn. Chores at the 17-room beachfront hideaway include doing laundry, cleaning the pool, sweeping the beach, organizing excursions for guests and checking travelers in and out. It's not all work and no play, though. After guests' Cinderella-like work is complete, they have the rest of the day and night to do whatever they want. Spokeswoman Charlotte Vinci says the package was created to give folks a chance of fulfilling their dreams of running an inn, without making the committment. She adds, "More and more travelers are looking for a working and learning vacations rather than just sitting on the beach."
