Chicago, IL (WFN) -- It's been almost two decades since the 1985 Chicago Bears line-up rapped their way into football fans' hearts with their goofy "Super Bowl Shuffle" video -- but love for the Reagan-era pop culture gem is still strong. Case in point: MPI Home Video is releasing a special 20th anniversary edition of the video September 28 -- complete with outtakes of hulking players William "The Refrigerator" Perry and Richard Dent stumbling through their dance steps. Julia Meyer -- whose late husband, Richard, came up with the idea for the rappin' roughnecks -- has been selling the video through her own company for the past year and says requests have come from as far away as Japan and Australia. She remembers the players were hurting from their only loss of the season when they came into the video shoot, but they were in high spirits to lip-synch and groove for the cameras. If you're wondering who's to blame for the players' awkward shuffling, Meyer -- who also plays the referee in the video -- says her hubby and linebacker Mike Singletary stepped in as choreographers.
