Dallas, TX (WFN) -- Politics does make strange bedfellows if a new survey is any indication.

According to Match.com, 25 percent of American singles admit they would volunteer for a political campaign in order to meet a date.

That's not all -- nearly 17 percent of singles say they would break up with someone who didn't think it was important to vote.

-- 44 percent of single voters think a candidate's looks will be the deciding factor in November's presidential election.

-- 49 percent say George W. Bush is the best looking candidate while 41 percent claim John Kerry is the real hunk.

-- Finally, 53 percent of single women think Kerry would be a better kisser than Bush or Ralph Nader and 45 percent say he'd be more fun on a date.
