Silliest Kids Live In West

Foster City, CA (WFN) -- Being silly is a state of mind, but the kids in some parts of the country are sillier than others.

According to a new survey by The Picture People, the western United States is the home to the silliest kids in the country.

In fact, 48 percent of parents there say their kids are real kidders, while 45 percent of folks in the south think their young 'uns are also silly.

The west is also a wild place for social butterflies: 45 percent of parents say their kids are "outgoing and social" compared to 31 percent of southern kids.

Meanwhile, the midwest is the home of America's quietest kids -- 21 percent of parents there describe their kids as "thoughtful and shy" compared to only 4 percent of folks in the wild west.
