San Diego, CA -- Golfer Tiger Woods is trying to claw his way back to winning a major but he has a monkey on his back -- in the form of "The Curse of the Black Tiger."

Psychic researcher Dr. James Capers claims that since Woods got engaged eight months ago, he has been under a curse that is caused when a powerful man is overly infatuated with a woman.

Capers says Woods' engagement to Swedish model Elin Nordegren has caused him to lose his spiritual, physical and mental sight and, consequently, the Tiger is now "p****-whipped."

As a result, Capers says the curse has affected Woods' heart and sight and, even worse, "...his mind is always preoccupied with lust," causing him to be constantly distracted and lack focus.

It looks bad for Woods' golf game, but Capers says he'd take a swing at breaking the curse -- but only if the golfer asks him.
