Bronx, NY -- Rap music gets a bad rap for promoting hate instead of love, but that won't be the case at a rap festival taking place in the Bronx, New York tomorrow (Aug. 14).

The 10th annual Rap Fest will assemble 26 god-loving rap ministry groups from around the world including groups with names like Crossed Out, Sons of God and Foreign Tongues.

Each group will have 15 minutes to rap about love and peace and festival spokesman Bert Bocachica says the event was organized because "...a Bible just gets to certain people," while the festival can approach many more in a different way.

Bocachica admits he used to rap negative lyrics before he found God, but adds, "Everyone has a chance to do something different, to change their life around."

Nearly 5,000 are expected to attend the day-long free festival but, chances are, Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent won't be freestyling their way to the event.
