	2004-08-12 - Weird News Wireless Flash News Former 'Melrose Place' Star In A Mothering Place

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Josie Bissett was a top star in the 1990s thanks to "Melrose Place," but she's in a mothering place these days. Bissett is busy taking care of her two kids -- a 5-year- old boy and a 2-year-old girl -- and working on her second career as an author, including her current book, "Making Memories" (Compendium). It's not as wild as a "Melrose Place" episode, but it's not without its soap opera elements. Bissett is currently working on a children's book that is going to have an illustration by her son, but now figures she'll have to put one in by her daughter too so the girl's feelings aren't hurt. Bissett may return to acting full-time in the future and figures the lessons she's learned from parenting will make her a better actress because, in her words, "you have to be at the top of your game and you feel emotions you didn't know you had."
