|
Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Al Pacino's cocaine-addled drug kingpin from the 1983 movie "Scarface" is inviting video gamers to "say hello to my little friend." The cult movie is the basis for a new video game which will hit stores in Fall 2005. Players will pretend to be Tony Montana, Pacino's lethal Cuban refugee-turned-gangster, in the console game being developed by Vivendi Universal Games. Fans of the film will find the storyline different from the original movie, but the locales, time period and current events will remain the same as they were in the 1983 movie. Adding to the Hollywood sheen, the game company has hired screenwriter David McKenna -- who wrote the Johnny Depp drug saga, "Blow" -- to pen an original script for the game.
