New York, NY (WFN) -- The Chinese probably won't beat the USA men's basketball team at the Athens Olympics, but they definitely have a "shot" to win the needling wager.

Wageronsports.com has the Chinese favored at 5 to 1 to be the first country to have an athlete fail a drug test.

Website oddsmaker Michael Perry says the prior history of Chinese athletes getting caught using performance-enhancing drugs was the biggest factor in determining the chances it will happen this time around.

The United States is the third-likeliest to be caught with a needle in its arm at 15 to 1 odds, while the host country, Greece, is a 30 to 1 shot.

Perry says there should be more failed drug tests than in past Olympics because, "there are more countries participating than in the past."

He adds that athletes from swimming, weight lifting and track and field should be the biggest shooting-up culprits.
